Rifle/Pistol Silhouette consists of shooting steel animal shaped targets at distances of 25, 40, 50, and 75 yds.
To score target has to be knocked down.
There are 5 classes: .22 Rifle Any Sight, .22 Sporter Rifle Iron Sight, Centerfire Pistol Iron Sight, .22 Pistol Iron Sight, and .22 Pistol Any Sight. Shooters can pick UP TO THREE classes to compete in.
The two iron sight pistol classes will be shot seated in a chair, the other three are shot standing free hand.
The Centerfire Pistol Iron Sight class is a 20 shot match, all other classes are 40 shot matches.
The Centerfire class is limited to straight wall pistol cartridges up to .44 mag. A .22 mag may also be used in the Centerfire class although it may not knock down the more distant targets.
Any cartridge that damages targets will not be allowed regardless of type.
Ear and eye protection required.
Fee is $5.00 per class.
