Benchrest Outlaw Course of Fire

COURSE of FIRE – OUTLAW

  • Relay 1
    • Practice/sight-in period – 5 Minutes
    • First Scoring Round – 25 Shots / 20 Minutes. Make sure to shoot at least one official sighter at top of every card. The first time a sighter isn’t shot, it will be a warning. Every time after that, there will be a 100-Point deduction.
    • Second Scoring Round – 25 Shots / 20 Minutes
  • Relay 2
    • Same as Rely 1
  • Relay 3
    • Same as Relay 1 & 2
  • Outlaw Game/Money Match
    • In most cases, the Outlaw Game/Money Match will take place following the last scoring round.
    • Outlaw Game/Money Match bench assignments will be determined by the Match Director and announced prior to starting Outlaw Game/Money Match.

SCORING

Factory / Unlimited Class
  • Scoring is based on the “worst edge scoring method”. See example in top left corner of the target.
  • It is the competitors responsibility to hang the correct target prior to the command to begin the match.
Open Sights (OUTLAW ONLY) Class
  • Scoring is based on the “best edge scoring method”. A bullet hole that breaks a line is given the the higher value.
  • Competitors will have five (5) targets for record. They will shoot each target five (5) times for a total of 25 scored shots per shooting round.
  • Only the five (5) worst shots from each target will be used to calculate the total score if more than five (5) shots are placed in a single target.
