Turkey Shoot
Open to both members and public.
Registration will take place on-site at the day of the event. The registration cost is $5 per person per round.
This winter event takes place adjacent to the front trap range. Each shooter is provided with a single buckshot shell. The spray is random. The goal is to get closest to the absolute middle of the bullseye.
The winner gets bragging rights and a 50/50 pot (the winner and the club each receive half of the money collected from the competition.)
Rules
- This is a sportsman stock shotgun event.
- No rests (bipods, tripods, shooting sticks, etc…)
- Open sights (no scopes or optics).
- Adults and minors accompanied by a parent or guardian are welcome.
- Eye and ear protection required while on the firing line.
- 12 gauge and 20 gauge shotguns allowed.
- Ammo ( #9 shot) and targets provided.
- Paper targets with a bullseye center placed at 25 yards.
- Closest to the bullseye wins as determined by the judge of the round.
- In the unlikely event of a tie, there will be a shoot-off.
